The title, well, that is what we did today... yesterday we went to menards and spent a lot of money getting all the wonderful things we need to garden and to paint our house (sans the paint- waiting for a rainy day) then yesterday afternoon we spent HOURS fixing the edge of the fence behind the shed and reshaping our HUGE garden and today we put in a rock walking path... after we picked up a million or so rocks in order to make room for the larger stepping path rocks and THEN we hand placed the little rocks around the larger ones.
For those of you who think that this anal task was my idea, think again, that was all my hubby, BUT, to his credit, it looks fantastic! After that was finally done, we put up a fence around the garden then planted
tomatoes, red peppers, green peppers, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, habanero peppers, eggplant, cucumber, peas, beans, zuchini, carrots, terragon, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, and replanted chives and oregano... sound like a lot- well, it is!! When that was finished, we re-edged one of the planters alongside the shed so it was even with the other side and thinned out and transplanted hostas to truly make the front of the shed symmetrical.
We finally edged around the big tree in front of the shed and transplanted the overgrowing "filler" plant from in front of the deck to around that tree. Oh, PS... we did change the bulbs on the lights on the ceiling fan yesterday too!
Oh, and Christopher mowed the lawn
yesterday for the first time!!!
