happiest baby on the planet...

This last month has been the most amazing thing in the world! Isaac smiles continuously and has now learned how to clap and EVERYTHING is clap worthy!!! Dinner takes so much longer as we clap after most bites and talk non-stop (his mommy's son remember!) Daddy is still his hero unless he is hurt or wanting to go to bed! Daddy is on ER and works 1pm-11pm so mommy puts Isaac to bed everynight.... however, even when daddy is home, mommy has to do the job as daddy just makes Isaac want to play all the time! Isaac just sees Christopher and gets all riled up! Mix Ripley into the scene and you have 3 boys wrestling like crazy and one mommy playing ref and comforter when one of the boys gets a bump!

We made our first zoo trip... Isaac LOVED the monkeys the absolute most (they move the most!) He pet a goat and fed the ducks!

Walking continues to be a fun activity around and between everything but crawling is still our preferable FAST method of movement!

Sept has been our favorite overall month. Labor day weekend we spent Sat at the boat with grandma and grandpa ron and nancy! It was a little too cold to swim, but we still had lots of fun (especially with the cheese puffs!) On Sunday we went to a med school classmate's wedding. It was great to see everyone and Isaac was PERFECT! He really liked the chicken saltimboca for dinner but truly enjoyed sharing fish crackers with Mason Reiner! On Labor day we went for our first train ride to Target Field with Great Grandpa and then went to our first Twins game with greatgrandpa and Uncle Eric. Daddys picture is forever painted on the wall outsdie the Townball Tavern from when he played for ELko and they won the state tournament. Isaac, once again, was angelic!

Last weekend mommy ran her second half marathon this year in Sioux Falls: 1hr 54min and 34sec!!! In the last 9 months mommy has: had Isaac, run 2 half marathons, run 1 half marathon relay (with grandma Julie), run a 5K and did a triathon! Last week of pumping for mommy too- estimated at around 125gallons of milk!

  1. He's so cute. One of these times you visit MN you should give me a call. I'll come meet you somewhere for lunch or dinner or something! Seriously!
